LUNASENSE NEWS:
It's been a long wait for the announcement
of releasedates and info regarding the third
Pantommind album entitled "Lunasense".
The band’s plan was to release the album
during Spring /Summer 2008 but, as you already
know sometimes those plans took a different
direction so, now we can reveal that Lunasense
will be released during Autumn/Fall 2008.
Until then you can watch the fantastic album
cover made by great Bulgarian Photographer
Radoslav Penchev with co-operation with
our webmaster Ivan Maslev and hear the full
song “Days Of Old”

please share your comments if you feel like

Recording news:
Well,we are at the half-way point with
our 3-rd album. We've just finished tracking
everything (excepting some guitars/keys
for one song), and we are moving into
mixing this month.
The "Lunasense" album is sounding
great so far, and we are sure this will
be our strongest and most progressive
album to date. The rough mixes we have
heard during the recording sessions already
have us very impatient to get this album
out there.Cheers!

Due to personal and professional reasons
occurred over the past two months we have
decided to part ways with keyboardist
Scaldor.
We would like to thanks him for the time
he was a part of the band, and for his
great performance on our first album.
We wish him the best of luck for the future.

It is with sad heart and mind that we have to announce the cancellation of Pantommind on this year's ProgPower Europe Festival.
The reason for the cancellation is that Pantommind have lost not 1, but 2 members of the band within just one month(after the Sunny X's leaving, Peter Vichew, our second guitarist just decided to continue his career by his own), and due to those circumstances it is simply impossible to do a performance that would be representative of the band and the perfectionism we stand for.
We are truly sorry and hope that the fans that had anticipated Pantommind's performance will have a chance to see the band live in a not too distant future. Thanks for your support!
Pantommind/Intromental
Well...enough bad news!
The shining piece of news is that Scaldor
took the job for the sound, mix and mastering
for the Lunasense
album, and the results are more than optimistic!
We will make you confident about this
in a very short time.
The remaining part of the band is still alive and kickin' and strongly keeping the spirit of Pantommind, so the upcoming new album will make the next big step for the band.

We
are more than pleased to announce you
that while roaming across the deepest
and the darkest forests of the Old Mountain
in a desperate search for a new keyboard
player for Pantommind,
we've found Scaldor
- "synthmeister-in-the-woods" - the best
kept secret in the mountains, in his hidden
hut, trying a new groundbreaking, thermonuclear
sound synthesis algorhythms with his coffeemachine(thank
goodness we didn't found him an hour later!)
The guy behind the classic demosongs of
the finest music program of Finland -
Jeskola Buzz who now joined forces with
us even closer! From now on, the guru
who's keeping the ancient knowledge of
the analogue synth mystics will rise our
spirits even higher. Cheers!Keep that
axe farther, dude!:-)
May 2006
Because
of some serious engagements out of the
band, our beloved keyboard player Sunny
X has left Pantommind.
We all wish him a huge success in his
new artistic plans! Off you go, mate!
We love you!

...
Who would have thought that Bulgaria actually had
anything whatsoever to offer in the world of progressive
metal?
Not me, for one - but with the impressive album "Shade
Of Fate", Bulgarian band Pantommind definitely proves
me wrong.
Recorded at home in Bulgaria in the spring of 2004, "Shade
Of Fate" is an impressive affair, from first note to
the very end of this 50 minute long trip through all shades
of what progressive metal should all be about.
There are those who believe that a progressive metal band
is one of those Dream Theater / Queensrÿche clones
that the music scene is so full off - well, that might be
right to some, but to others like me, it's also about creating
something unique, or at least blending things together in
a new fashion that hasn't really been done (or at least
not overused) before. With "Shade Of Fate" Pantommind
succeeds on all aspects!
...
From the melodic prog-metal world, (as exemplified by opener
"Shade Of Fate", with its slight inspirations
coming from bands such as Vanden Plas, Fates Warning or
Poverty's No Crime), to the more technical side of things
(just listen to the instrumental "Spectastral",
and even a quite dramatic - almost cinematic approach),
Pantommind for sure delivers the goods. To top it all -
or should I say, in order to be the unique entity I described
the band as - Pantommind infuses their metal with an Eastern
European atmosphere, that never becomes too folk'ish or
too ethnic as such, but simply embraces the music like a
warm layer of emotion. ...
Besides the incredible song writing of Pantommind, vocalist
Tony Ivan has got to be the shining point of the entire
ensemble. His voice is soft, sweet and emotional, but also
dramatic in approach, and is a focal point of "Shade
Of Fate" if any. But with that said, I would definitely
not like to discredit the other musicians either, as they
all deliver amazing performances. Guitarist Pete Christ
has a very nice tone and a lot of feeling is put into his
guitar playing, and when he goes for the more acoustic sounding
passages, the sweet sound of the guitar strings are just
breathtaking. Drummer Drago is an important part of the
band, with his dry, precise sound, and very tight playing
- he never over-does things, but works very well with the
feel of the songs. The same goes for bassist Dido that delivers
a strong performance and backs up the band with his good
bass playing. Sunny X is one of those keyboardists that
doesn’t really interfere much with the sound of the
band, until you suddenly hear his calm piano pieces or his
explosive neo-classical solos coming through and reminding
us why keyboards are such an integral part of this genre,
and why it's one of those musical elements that just lifts
everything to the nth level. Awesome! ...
Pantommind is a band for the future - a band not necessarily
sounding like anyone else, but also a band that fits really
well within the style they've chosen to play. Bulgarian
progressive metal shouldn't be disregarded anymore, as "Shade
Of Fate" easily deserves to find its place among the
best releases of the genre. For sure, one of the top releases
of 2004 in the whole progressive metal scenario.
